We had so much fun here as a couple on a Saturday night. We sat at the bar which had plenty of seating and TVs showing the football games. The male bartender was friendly, attentive, and made good STRONG drinks! You could tell the cocktails weren't just a pre-mixed but rather that they made them to order. I tried the blueberry mojito, classic marg and my husband got the manhattan. We loved all 3! Their food was pretty good! I actually enjoyed their pizza quite a lot. It tasted homemade and was a great size for the price. I got the Nashville hot chicken pizza and loved the pickles ontop! A great touch! We also tried the fish and chips and thought they were yummy too! They have a TouchTunes machine so you can connect your music and jam the night away! Overall, super cute place. Plenty of seating. Very cozy, casual vibe!

Great place for large parties and has indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu is pretty diverse so you should be able to find something you like, and pricing is on trend with other DC restaurants. Service is usually fast, and they have no issues with keeping unlimited mimosas full during brunch. Star is being removed because when the food comes from the kitchen, the staff just barks out the food item which is sometimes not really what it is called on the menu, making it kind of chaotic. It should be on the waiter/staff to know who ordered what and have it sent directly to that person. Another issue is the disingenuous additional tip on top of the 20% service fee for large parties. It isn't clear that the service fee is already included, and when you check out, it suggested an additional tip on top of that (+ a small fee for paying using the app).

I highly recommend this boozy-forward brunch if you want to pour your own mimosas! Brunch menu is extensive: with both breakfast & lunch options! The Bailey's French Toast was my favorite! Colonel Shaw's Chicken Sandwich (Grilled) was also good! Server was very accommodating and brought a lot of champagne! Food all came out together -- which is impressive considering we had 11 in our group! The location is nice and close to the bars as well!

Loved that they brought so many bottles for brunch and being able to pour our own mimosas! Grilled chicken sandwich was solid and the French toast was also pretty good (fluffy with fresh fruit). Food was elevated bar food but not expensive! Good spot for large group and prime location Shaw! Service was also good and didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive!

Had brunch here with friends and it was good! Great bottomless mimosa special and enjoyed the apps.

I rented the private second floor bar for my 40th Birthday party, and could not praise the team enough! Rob, the manager was very communicative and accommodating, even when I had some last minute changes. The second floor is spacious with plenty of seating, TVs, and a dedicated bartender. I was even able to play my own birthday playlist through the bars Spotify set up. My friends and I had a wonderful time. I really appreciate the team going out of the way to make my milestone birthday as special as possible.

Every time I go to Shaw's, it's a 10 out of 10. It's the brunch for me.... AFFORDABLE bottomless mimosas, at $24/pp. This time was no different, except we sat upstairs, which was a nice change of scenery from sitting downstairs or out on the patio. They have a tv up there, which had the soccer game on so that was cool. We got the hush puppies to start and that curry aioli was BOMB! For my entree, I got the steak 'n eggs, which is ALWAYS a winner. If we're being honest, all of the entrees I've had have hit the mark big! The service is always prompt and friendly! The music is always going! Great Dj's. Oh, and my FAVORITE part, is that they use a payment system where EVERYONE can pay their portion (or whatever they want to pay for) from their phone, so you never have to worry splitting checks or who's gonna pay for what and ruining Sunday fun day! I do suggest making a reservation though! If you haven't been, IT'S WORTH A SPIN. If you have been, THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO HEAD BACK!

Overall - a cute place to check out if you're in the area! I will say that the servers/team accommodated a very large group of us (10-ish) as a walk in, so that was really kind. Food - I thought it was good!! Portion sizes are large, the ingredients seemed fresh. I got a margarita which was also very strong (yay).

Came here for Trivia night which is Monday nights. Ordered strictly appetizers while we were here. The hushpuppies and truffle fries were ok. Nothing to really write home about. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. I would order those again. The service during trivia was great. Our waitress was on point and took care of our food and drink needs. The place itself is pretty cool. We sat outside near the emergency exit. It was a bit cold! Pack a jacket! Trivia was great though! Tough questions! A lot of fun! Will return at some point.
